SHARING is CARING! If you’ve created a teaching activity, lesson, or unit for your gifted students or for enrichment, you’ll thrill thousands of teachers by sharing about it here. A quick explanation is all that’s needed and, although you don’t earn anything, you can add author to your resume or professional development portfolio, which really impresses principals and school personnel! And you will be rewarded with the warm feelings that always come from helping others and being generous.
It doesn’t have to be lengthy or exceptionally detailed. All teachers like to make things their own, and your idea can give them a starting point. Here’s a sample blog post about a math lesson I’ve done with 3rd-grade GT students that you could use as a guide in writing yours. You can also find posts written by other teachers in the “Shared by Teachers” category on this site.
If you have an original lesson or idea that you’re interested in sharing, please send a MESSAGE with a brief synopsis of your activity. You are also invited to tell us more about any TPT products you’ve created for advanced and GT students. You can read about how to share those HERE.
