These engaging and mind-expanding videos are all less than 6 minutes in length and can be used anytime to spark imagination and conversation.

COSMIC EYE (4th and up – 3 min.) – Shake up perspective with this video that zooms out into the universe and then zooms inside the body (more here)

HOW WE ARE GOING TO THE MOON(5th and up – under 6 min.)– an overview of what the ARTEMIS missions are all about – creating a long-term presence on the moon and launching human missions from there to Mars. A key element is Gateway, a lunar station that will remain in orbit around the moon. (more here)

INTRO to BIOMIMICRY (3rd and up – 5 min.) This is a great little 5-minute field trip if you don’t have time to teach a unit on this fascinating field of study. (more here)

THE PROBLEM of the TWO DOORS (5th and up – 3 min.) – a very challenging riddle and logic problem! (more here)

THE OCEAN TWILIGHT ZONE and CREATURE of the TWILIGHT ZONE (3rd and up – both under 2 min.) Students are fascinated by the glow-in-the-dark creatures found deep in the ocean! (more here)

WORLD of WORDS MUSEUM (4th and up) – A virtual museum inspired by the PLANET WORD museum in Washington, D.C. This could be bookmarked to explore as you have pockets of time.

ALPHABET GUESSING GAME – (for all ages) Everyone loves a guessing game, and everyone will learn something new (more here)

CONNECT JAPAN with JELLYBEANS(3rd and up) – a PREZI presentation that follows connections made- how learning about Japan leads to learning about jellybeans. (more here)

SIX-HAT THINKING INTRODUCTORY SLIDE SHOW(2nd and up) if you’ve never had time to share this, but have a few minutes, it’s a great thinking strategy! (more here)

THE FUN THEORY: PIANO STAIRS (3rd and up) – Illustration of the Fun Theory – (more here)

WHO’s on FIRST? (4th and up – under 7 min.) – the classic comedy routine by Abbott and Costello, a hilarious play on words. Warn the students that they talk very fast. You can easily find a transcript online to share. (more here)
